Where to go: Directions
From New Brunswick: Travel to either St. Stephen or Saint John.
From St. Stephen: Take Rout 1 east to St. George. There is an exit to
Deer Island. Follow the signs through Back Bay to L'etete. There is the Deer
Island Ferry Landing.
From Saint John: Follow Route 1 to St. George. There is an exit to Deer
Island. Follow the signs through Back Bay to L'etete. There is the Deer Island
Ferry Landing.
From New England:
Quickest Way: Travel to Maine through Route 95. Take the northern route
through Bangor while still on 95. Take exit onto Route 9 East. Follow is to
Calais, Maine. Cross the St. Stephen, New Brunswick border. Then see above for
the rest….
Coastal Route: Travel to Portland, Maine through Route 95. Then take
Route 1 into Bath, Maine to Eastport, Maine. There is an exit onto Route 192
you should take. In Eastport, there are signs pointing to the Deer Island Ferry.
It has a toll.
